NACHI-FUJIKOSHI

NACHI-FUJIKOSHI was founded in Toyama, located at the foot of the Tateyama mountain range, in 1928.

Our founder Koki Imura believed that domestic production of machines and cutting tools, which were all imported from abroad at that time, was very important for Japan's industrial development, and made this his mission, starting to produce saw blades.

Origin of the Corporate Name "FUJIKOSHI";

The word "FUJI" is taken from Buddhist scriptures. The scripture says that "justice and injustice may seem like two different things, but in reality they are 'FUJI' (one), that is, 'one and the same'."

The word "KOSHI" is a Chinese character meaning the area around the Sea of Japan since ancient times.

Origin of the Trade Mark "NACHI";

The name NACHI, which expresses a strong and entrepreneurial purpose, comes from "KUMANO-NACHI-TAISHA", meaning the Great Shrine, which is the origin of Japan.
